Use your Barter Dollars to Reward your Loved Ones!
There are many challenges to starting up and building a small business. Most of the time a new small business requires diverting personal money to fund the business, limiting the cash for personal use. A new small business also requires huge effort to bring in new clients. This is what happened to us. We had to use our personal money to start up and build Artista Magazine, limiting our ability to spend for important family occasions. We also had to spend most of our time sourcing new clients. On these two challenges, First Canadian Barter helped us.
The FCBE team brought new barter clients to our business. With this client base, we were able to generate barter income which we used to celebrate important family celebrations. Last July, we used our barter dollars for my daughter’s bowling party at Xcalibur Bowling Lanes. In August, I organized a Paintball Party for my husband’s birthday. In September, we celebrated our Anniversary with a dinner at Accent Cruises.
Now that our business is established and operations are stable, we are looking into using our barter dollars in growing the business. We will be attending the seminars FCBE are offering to improve our business skills.
