I use some of the barter dollars I earn to pay for marketing, which helps me to attract more cash-paying clients. I recently used barter dollars to grow my business by purchasing the ‘5 Star Review System’ from another member. It is a software that creates a positive image of your business online, using real customer reviews and ratings.

Neil Godin, Neil Godin International Inc.
Neil Godin is the president of Neil Godin International and one of the first members of First Canadian Barter Exchange (FCBE), joining back in 1997. Having been in the barter movement since the late 70’s he was familiar with the barter industry and its benefits.
When asked why he decided to join FCBE, he recalls, “I had heard such great things about First Canadian. One of the key things that I was looking for was great customer service and I had heard that this company goes out of its way to help a client. I knew I had to join!”

Len Goossen, Goossen & Associates
Len Goossen has been a Certified General Accountant for over 20 years. He has been with First Canadian Barter Exchange since its inception over 19 years ago and was one of the first dozen members to join.
Len had already been associated with other exchanges before joining First Canadian. “First Canadian Barter Exchange is definitely more stable, they’re good at weeding out the people who aren’t up front and fair. They are good at keeping their list current. Plus, the exchange is full of entrepreneur types willing to make deals when you really need it, and that’s what sets them apart.”
